All I can say is Yummy! Such good food there, and always have had friendly servers and hostesses. You might have to wait a bit, but it's worth the wait.
always so so so good!! each order i've gotten has always had so much food for an understandable price. delightful service and pick up is easy!
I grew up eating at this restaurant! Numerous family gatherings and many Sunday lunches after church have been consumed here! It's so sad to see businesses like this dying. What once was a thriving restaurant that you had to wait in line to be seated for, is now just a large empty space with a handful of diners on a good day. I think the days and times of operation have been modified recently, so definitely check online or call before you go. I get it, fried fish platters are not trending anymore due to people becoming more health conscious but they do offer broiled seafood options here and they make a pretty darn good salad plate, too! Hushpuppies (yes, those deep fried nuggets of cornmeal) are still complimentary and the Sweet Tea is really, really good! They even sell it by the gallon jug! Of course, after 40+ years, I have my go-to order of Popcorn Shrimp & Baby Flounder but I like the Deviled Crab, too. The slaw is great but I often opt for the upcharge sides of a Salad and a Baked Potato, regardless of whether I'm dining in or picking up the order. There is a separate entrance/building for Take Out orders. It is very nice to walk in and grab the order and head right back out to the car. Very, very convenient! This is probably the best business decision (years ago) ever made for this location because they stay very busy on call in orders. I will continue patronizing this business, mostly take out, because it is still serving great food!
Good food, close by and takeout is quick and easy. Prices have really gone up but everything has.
